UHTV Video-On-Demand
The purpose of the UHTV Video-On-Demand (VOD) is to provide students registered in cable courses to view class sessions missed due to broadcast or technical difficulties. It is not intended as an alternate delivery method for cable courses. Registered students are still required to view cable broadcasts of each class session and not rely on VOD to complete their course. The materials in each course are only for registered students for purposes associated with the course and may not be retained or further disseminated. Each class session’s videostream will be accessible for two weeks after the first cable broadcast. However, videostreams for first cable broadcasts during the last two weeks of the course are accessible only until the end of the course. VOD will not be available once the course ends. Registered students should check with their instructor for other options to obtain missed class work should the two-week access expire or course ends.
Computer Requirements
VOD is not intended for every registered student. To access VOD, students must have a computer with broadband connection (cable modem, DSL) or greater and have QuickTime 7 installed. Internet Explorer 5+ is the preferred browser. Cookies need to be enabled. Registered students that do not meet this requirement should contact their instructor for other options to obtain missed class work.Technical Support
